Two juveniles are in custody following a carjacking in Nashville last month, and it follows a theme of stolen firearms from Dickson.
According to Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, two male juveniles, ages 14 and 15, were arrested in Nashville on Aug. 25 following a surveillance operation on Tusculum Road. A 2014 Honda was stolen the night before from Tusculum Road after the victim exited his vehicle. The victim was allegedly robbed at gunpoint by the two suspects who then took the Honda.
Investigators from the MNPD Robbery Operations Unit were surveilling the vehicle when they saw the suspects get into the vehicle and drive off. Shortly thereafter, the vehicle was immobilized on Tusculum Road near Colemont Drive. Both suspects were reportedly armed, and when officers ordered them to drop their weapons, the 15-year-old reportedly pointed his gun towards a detective before both were taken into custody…
