(KRON) — A thief stole a sacred bronze monstrance from Saint Francis of Assisi Church on Oak Grove Road in Concord, police said.
The Blessed Host Monstrance is 3-feet-tall and weighs 30 pounds. Police said the thief stole it from the church’s altar on the morning of September 4.
Using surveillance footage, Concord Police Department Officer Herrera was able to find the monstrance at the suspect’s residence.
