PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — It’s no secret that electric rates always go up in the winter, but both Rhode Island Energy and utility regulators say ratepayers likely will not experience bills as high as what they saw last winter.
Rhode Island Energy’s proposed winter supply rate for Last Resort Service customers is 14.770 cents per kWh.
