Police arrest cousins tied to Baton Rouge drive-by firing shots at juveniles

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Two men accused of firing shots at juveniles in a Baton Rouge drive-by shooting were arrested.

Cousins Teron Walker and Rushawn Walker, both 22, were charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder, and one count each of illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities, assault by drive-by shooting and aggravated criminal damage to property.

According to police documents, a car driving down Ridgemont Drive near Greenwell Springs Road shot at three male juveniles on Aug. 30. At least two juveniles were injured. Video surveillance had sound, allowing detectives to hear gunfire and one of the victims say, ā€œI’m hit.ā€

Jail records show that both suspects were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Sunday…
