JOHNSON COUNTY, Iowa — The Johnson County Emergency Management Agency will be testing outdoor sirens on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in areas of the North Zone. It includes locals north of Lake MacBride, Solon, Swisher, Shueyville and rural areas.
Those in the areas will hear a series of short tests between 10 a.m. and 10:15 a.m., all lasting less than three minutes. The tests normally happen on the first Wednesday morning of each month.
