KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Kansas City leaders revealed the finalized location for Kansas City Police Department’s temporary jail, which will be brought up at a city council meeting next week in a proposed ordinance.
The city currently does not own a jail, it uses other jails to detain criminals, and it contracts out with Vernon and Johnson counties.
