US Marshals ask for public’s help in finding Little Rock man facing murder charge

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the U.S. Marshals Service are asking for the public’s help in finding a Little Rock man.

Marshals are searching for 20-year-old Deshun Dontay Acker. He is facing charges of capital murder, aggravated robbery and kidnapping, officials said. Little Rock police want him in connection with the January 2023 shooting death of 17-year-old Carnelius Williams, Marshals said.

Acker is described as a 5-foot-8-inch Black man who weighs 120 pounds. He is armed and dangerous with violent tendencies and an escape risk, officials said.

Officials also added that anyone “assisting Aker in any way will face federal and state prosecution.”
