SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Several viewers have received a jury summons in the mail, thinking it’s a scam. It’s not.
A couple of viewers sent On Your Side what arrived in their mailboxes. It’s a legit summons for jury service in federal court, but you might not have to show up. By the way, the federal courthouse is next to the Hammons Tower in downtown Springfield.
Go to this website and enter your participant number. Then call before the service week to see if you’re needed.
