Tens of thousands expected for Fiji Tribute Concert at Waikīkī Shell

HONOLULU, Hawaii (Island News) – If you’re going to be anywhere near Waikīkī this weekend, or planning to catch the tribute concert for Fiji at the Tom Moffatt Waikīkī Shell, you’ll want to plan ahead.

Big crowds, traffic and safety rules are all in place.

Set up is already underway as tens of thousands prepare to honor the late George Veikoso, known to fans worldwide as Fiji. Organizers call the concert both a celebration of music and a chance to reflect on Fiji’s life and legacy.
