BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Mission at Kern County’s 13,000-square-foot kitchen and transitional housing facility broke ground on Wednesday morning.
The facility broke ground at 9 a.m. on Wednesday at 821 E. 21st St., Bakersfield, according to organizers.
“This has been many, many years in the making and now we get to see the vision come through and we’re super, super excited,” said Carlos Baldovinos, the executive director at The Mission at Kern County.
