BLACK: A Festival of Joy returns on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in Indianapolis, bringing together live music, DJs, vibrant performances, interactive art, wellness areas, community conversations, and more, all free and open to the public. Hosted at Riverside Park’s Taggart Memorial Amphitheater (1856 Burdsal Parkway), this family-friendly, community-centered event celebrates Black resilience and cultural creativity, spotlighting Black-owned vendors, food trucks, and immersive experiences that unite and uplift us all.
What to Bring and What to Skip
All you really need to bring is your wonderful self but packing a few essentials will make your day smoother and comfier. Festival organizers recommend water to stay hydrated, sun protection like sunscreen, a hat or umbrella, sunglasses, plus chairs or a blanket to settle in.
