Brentwood deploys invasive plant clean-up crew: Goats

BRENTWOOD, Mo. — Nature’s lawnmowers have descended on Brentwood’s Memorial Park, and they’re using their powers for good.

City Parks and Recreation officials recently deployed a clean-up crew of goats at the park to clear out overgrown invasive plants and brush, the department said in a social media post. Members of the public are encouraged to watch them work near the park’s Pavilion #2.

“This eco-friendly landscaping method helps maintain the park naturally while giving visitors a fun and unique chance to see goats in action,” the department’s post said. “Stop by to watch them at work and enjoy this lively addition to the park!”…
