With a name from the Magnolia State, Mississippi Boy Catfish & Ribs conjures authentic soul food flavors with a Denver twist. And their stage aims to make the spot a music venue worth noticing.
Owner Ty Allen and daughter Tyra Allen visited The Morning Set to tell their family story (Ty’s dad was the first black CDL driver in Colorado who made a career at Coors), how they built their 130-item menu (with help from Pierre’s Supper Club), and plans for a consistent entertainment schedule.
