BOISE, Idaho — A 33-year-old man attempted to escape police by jumping into the Boise River early Tuesday morning after a police pursuit ended when spike strips disabled his pickup truck.
Shannon Levi was arrested after deputies and officers pulled him from the river using a rope, according to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.
