GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, AZ — A tragic incident on September 7th has left the adventure community reeling after a Colorado man died when his vehicle drove off the rim of the Grand Canyon near the South Kaibab Trailhead.
At approximately 12:40 p.m., the Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center was alerted to a vehicle with a single occupant that had gone over the rim. National Park Service (NPS) rangers immediately responded to the scene, locating the victim about 300 feet below the rim.
