Anchorage Police have identified the victims of a double homicide near Davis Park as 44-year-old Carl Neislon Jr. and 34-year-old Sara Cummings.
Around 3 a.m., officers received a call after shots were heard near the snow dump, south of Mountain View. Responding officers found Nielson Jr. and Cummings dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Police reviewed surveillance video showing at least one victim crossing the street with a shopping cart just before the shooting. Anchorage Police Chief Case emphasized there were no homeless camps or tents in the area…
