BARBERTON — In its first regular legislative meeting after returning from summer hiatus, Barberton City Council Sept. 8 approved two changes to the city’s downtown overnight parking ordinance.
The first amendment to the ordinance expands the time period when parking is prohibited on streets in the Commercial Downtown District from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. The second amendments allows people residing in this zoning district to apply for a permit to park overnight in Commercial Downtown-zoned parking lots.
