ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Asheville is now an official member of the American Flood Coalition.
At the Sept. 9 Asheville City Council meeting, council members voted to join the group, which is a national bi-partisan nonprofit that focuses on policies and resources for flood impacted communities.
This is not the Coalition’s first time working with Western North Carolina. It includes includes neighboring towns like Hot Springs, Chimney Rock and Lake Lure…
