The first “official” general campaign for the newly merged United Way of Chautauqua County (UWCHQ) is well underway after a rally in Mayville late Tuesday afternoon. By funding programs such as Meals on Wheels, the Red Cross, the Jamestown Family YMCA, Chautauqua County Rural Ministry and others, Rohler says UWCHQ has made 52,213 impacts the past year. Campaign co-chair Andrew Goodell says he and his fellow co-chair, wife Lisa Goodell, are most excited about working with all the volunteers and staff to make it a successful campaign.
