Authorities in Rhode Island arrest one of dozens of accused members of a “large-scale” drug trafficking group in Puerto Rico.
Federal court documents show Carlos Javier Reyes-Nunez, also known as “Dutty” and “Duty,” was arrested Thursday in Rhode Island.
A federal indictment in Puerto Rico last week charges Reyes-Nunez and 48 others in an operation that trafficked drugs, including heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine, through a housing project in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
Prosecutors write the drug trafficking operation is known as “Bin Laden Records.”…
