Murder of Maury High School student remains unsolved while leaders call for peace

NORFOLK, Va (WAVY) — From a torrent of tears to persistent drops of pain, those who love Jordan Hill and those sickened by the cycle of violence gathered in Norfolk to say, no more.

Norfolk City Councilman John Paige offered context as rain fell upon the gathering outside Waterside District.

“This crisis that we’ve been in, since the crack [cocaine] epidemic in America that has never been addressed, where we officially lost our communities, now is the time to stand up greater than we’ve ever stood up before,” Paige said…
