DEA summit tackles fentanyl crisis, support networks

PEARL, Miss. (WJTV) – The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) held a summit on Thursday to acknowledge the importance of fentanyl abuse and to commemorate the lives lost to the drug.

According to the DEA, more than 40,000 fentanyl-related deaths have occurred in the United States each year for more than a decade.
