An Arkansas woman has been charged in connection with the death of a baby following a violent incident late last month. Court records show that Terra Jonell Thompson has been charged with second-degree murder, first-degree domestic battery, and second-degree domestic battery after the child’s death on Friday, August 29.
According to investigators, the infant was first taken to a local hospital, where medical staff noted visible bruising on the right side of the baby’s face. The child was later transported to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, where doctors determined the baby had suffered a brain bleed.
