LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — Nebraska’s foster children spend an average of 20 months in foster care, with three family and school placements during that time.
A Department of Education grant-funded, nonprofit program in collaboration with the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Oregon Research Institute is working to find ways to make those transitions easier — and keep foster kids on a path to success.
