Safeway, a subsidiary of Albertsons Cos., is closing 10 stores in Colorado by early November, including locations in Denver, Aurora, Englewood, Northglenn, Fort Collins, Loveland, Colorado Springs, La Junta, and Lamar. The closures are part of a strategic decision by the grocery chain.
