VANCOUVER, Wash. (KPTV) — A Vancouver family is starting from scratch after they were evicted from their home of more than 15 years.
After the family’s belongings were left out on the sidewalk, the local community is helping them get back on their feet.
Tom and Marlene Berg had turned their house into a home over the years. The Bergs are both in their 80s and Tom is a disabled veteran. Erik Berg, the couple’s son, and his own child moved into the home so Erik could help care for his elderly parents…
