A juvenile has been taken into custody after allegedly making a bomb threat that sent an Allentown middle school into lockdown Thursday.
Allentown Police Capt. of Administration Kyle Pammer said the incident unfolded around 11:45 a.m. at Trexler Middle School, 851 N. 15th St., in the city. Officers quickly responded, working with school district officials and security, he said.
Police, armed with their K-9 unit, and city firefighters swept the building to detect any explosive devices. No suspicious packages were found during the search, which included the surrounding property and grounds, Pammer said…
