There are local examples. Foremost is the story of Ann Arbor father Rodrigo Osorio’s 8-hour detainment by ICE, which he says traumatized his child he just dropped off at Lakewood Elementary.
There’s also the national news about the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. That’s not to mention yet another school shooting at Evergreen High School in Colorado the same day, sending one teen to critical condition and ending the life of the shooter…
