Some Palisades residents back congressional probe into January fire

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — Some Palisades residents are welcoming a new congressional investigation into the government’s handling of the January wildfire that destroyed thousands of homes and businesses.

Mike Geller is one of them. Nine months after flames consumed his Pacific Palisades home, he remains frustrated at what he sees as failures in the city’s response.
