BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The cause and manner of death for the inmate who died in Lerdo Pre-Trial in July were from natural causes.
The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified an inmate who died in Lerdo Pre-Trial Facility less than two weeks after being arrested as 46-year-old Jodi Lynn Gaddis of Tehachapi. Gaddis was arrested for attempted murder, according to the Kern County Superior Court website.
The report said on July 5, 2025, at 11:11 a.m., Gaddis went unresponsive at the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Lerdo Pre-Trial Facility. She was pronounced dead at the scene…
