S.C. restaurant dropped from lawsuit in crash that killed newlywed

CHARLESTON, S.C. – A Folly Beach restaurant has been removed from a lawsuit filed in connection with a DUI crash that killed a newlywed bride hours after her wedding and injured three others.

Taco Boy co-founder and CEO Karalee Fallert released a statement Tuesday saying they are “relieved this matter has been resolved and the facts have exonerated Taco Boy and our team.”

A South Carolina mother is sounding the alarm after a social media trend involving medicine almost killed her daughter.

“After extensive discovery, plaintiffs and their counsel confirmed there was no evidence to support claims against Taco Boy,” a release from the restaurant states. “The allegations were proven unsubstantiated in the deposition of driver Jamie Komoroski.”

Komoroski was charged with one count of reckless homicide resulting in death and three counts of felony DUI resulting in great bodily injury or death in the April 28, 2023, crash…
