(Iowa) — New research shows rates of distracted driving are falling in Iowa after the state’s hands free driving law went into effect.
Research from Cambridge Mobile Telematics shows that since the law went into effect on July 1st, cases of distracted driving fell by 3.9% across the state. Their data show that the law has helped prevent more than 20 crases and $980,000 in damages in July.
