Northwest Iowa — This Thursday, September 11th, is Patriot Day.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has ordered all flags at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Thursday, September 11th, in honor of Patriot Day and in memory of those who lost their lives in the September 11th terrorist attacks. This year marks the 24th year since 9/11.
Governor Reynolds says that twenty-four years ago, nearly 3,000 innocent Americans and brave first responders lost their lives to the unspeakably evil terrorist attacks against our great nation on September 11th.
