JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – There will be a temporary ramp closure on Interstate 220 in Jackson.
The closure will take place on the I-220 southbound on-ramp from Medgar Evers Boulevard eastbound.
Water leak repairs to cause temporary outage in Edwards
According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), the closure will begin at 10:00 p.m. on September 11 and end at 6:00 a.m. on September 12, 2025.
Crews will conduct guardrail repairs. MDOT officials said drivers should utilize an alternate route during the temporary ramp closure, slow down and be alert for roadside workers.
