ST. PAUL, Minn. – The woman who bought the guns used to kill Rochester native Adam Finseth and two others has been sentenced to federal prison.
Ashley Dyrdahl of Burnsville pleaded guilty to two counts of straw purchasing in U.S. District Court for the State of Minnesota. Prosecutors say that between September of 2023 and January of 2024, Dyrdahl purchased five different firearms from two different federal firearms licensees and then gave the guns to her domestic partner, Shannon Cortez Gooden.
Law enforcement says Gooden used two firearms that Dyrdahl purchased for him to ambush police officers and firefighter paramedics who were responding to a call for help from Gooden’s Burnsville home.
