San Antonio youth accused of planning mass shooting gets two years’ probation

The 13-year-old boy who allegedly planned to carry out a mass shooting at San Antonio’s Rhodes Middle School earlier this year was sentenced to two years’ probation after entering a guilty plea on Friday, the Express-News reports.

The boy, who appeared before the 436th Juvenile District Court, entered a plea of “true” on a second-degree felony arson charge — the equivalent of “guilty” in juvenile court, the daily reports.
