Two hurt in motorcycle crash in southeast Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Two people have been seriously injured following a crash involving a motorcycle in southeast Wichita.

It happened shortly before 6 p.m. at Pawnee and George Washington Boulevard.

Two arrested after gun found at Maize High School

According to police, a Jeep headed westbound on Pawnee was attempting to turn south on George Washington Boulevard when it turned in front of a motorcycle, causing the motorcycle to crash into the Jeep.

Police say that the motorcyclist and an occupant inside the Jeep were taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. It is noted that the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.

The area will be closed off for several hours while crews work the scene…
