ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Creamland Dairy employees are headed back to work after the union and the company agreed to a tentative labor deal. Members of Teamsters Local 492 went on strike last week, seeking higher wages and better working conditions. On Friday, both the union and Creamland’s parent company said they reached an agreement. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

After a week-long strike and month of difficult negotations, members of Teamsters Local 492 at Cremaland Dairy have reached a entetative agreement with the Dairy Farmers of America (DFA). The deal comes after workers stood together in demanding fairness, repsect, and a contract that reflects their essential contributions.
