HONOLULU (KHON2) — A second set of charges has been issued in the deadly Zablan Beach shooting in Nānākuli that occurred in the early morning hours of Sept. 6.
The 19-year-old suspect was charged on Sept. 11, two days after his initial arrest, the Honolulu Police Department said.

Originally, the suspect was classified as a victim — authorities said the man had shown up at a nearby hospital after the shooting, seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.
