Coventry Clock Tower receives new roof

COVENTRY — A new roof was installed Sept. 3 on the iconic Coventry Clock Tower at the intersection of Portage Lakes Drive and South Turkeyfoot Lake Road.

Coventry Trustee Edward Diebold said the old roof was the original roof, and the copper had worn out and was patched.

The township contracted with Walnut Creek Metals to install the new roof, which features a standing seam metal roof (copper color) that matches the roof on the new Logan Field House being constructed…
