Plans for Asheville Costco submitted to Technical Review Committee

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Developers have filed for a conditional zoning permit and submitted a concept plan to Asheville officials for a proposed Costco development in the Enka community.

Documents were filed with the city of Asheville’s Technical Review Committee on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025. The submission included capacity requests for water and sewer services, as well as a Transportation Impact Analysis (TIA) studying potential impacts on area traffic and infrastructure.

The documents offer renderings and details about a proposed 160,940-square-foot Costco retail store, which would include a 32-pump fueling station, a tire center and more than 830 parking spaces along Enka Heritage Parkway…
