CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — A serious crash prompted a large emergency response and shut down William Street in Cheektowaga on Friday night.
William Street was closed in both directions from Vern Lane to Helen Street around 8:45 p.m. Friday, according to NITTEC. That road closure covers both sides of the New York State Thruway at Exit 52A.
