CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Twenty four years ago, the world witnessed one of our country’s darkest days, September 11th, 2001. In the Lowcountry, service members and first responders are honoring those who lost their lives.
As the national anthem was sung, “The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave”, United States Coast Guard Charleston Sector officers carried the American Flag across the Charleston RiverDogs Stadium on Thursday morning.
