COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Columbus man was sentenced Thursday to more than 10 years in federal prison for selling drugs near a playground in West Virginia, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of West Virginia.
Court documents and statements say Geiontay Hoskins, also known as “G” and “Cuddy,” was given a sentence of 121 months for selling methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of Overbrook Playground in Wheeling in the northern part of the state.
Investigators reportedly searched Hoskins’ motel room in Elm Grove about five miles away and seized 150 grams of methamphetamine and 56 grams of fentanyl. They also recovered nearly $5,000 and the key to the motel room during a traffic stop on his vehicle, the attorney’s office said…
