Huntsville city leaders approve $5 million in funding to redevelop apartment complex

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Huntsville City Leaders approved almost $5 million to help a local nonprofit redevelop an apartment complex into a modern senior housing community.

Residents at the Huntsville Summit apartments said this is needed and they are so excited to for a new home without some of the problems they’re currently living with.

One resident, James Potts, has lived here for four years, and he is thankful the city is helping fund this project…
