BIRMINGHAM – A variety of electric vehicles will be on display and EV owners will be on hand to talk one-on-one with anyone interested in learning more about EVs at two upcoming events in the area.
The first free EV showcase is set for Cullman Electric Cooperative on Eva Road as part of its annual meeting Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.
The second free event is Sept. 20, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., near the Tesla Superchargers at MidCity in Huntsville.
“The fact is that EVs have become so politicized by the headlines that the facts get lost,” said Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition President Michael Staley. “Our EV showcases are designed to allow anyone who’s interested in learning more about EVs to check out a variety of vehicles that often perform better, are cheaper to maintain, and have longer ranges than today’s gas cars…
