Six new Publix locations are set to open in five U.S. states as the Lakeland, Florida-headquartered supermarket chain prepares to bring its green logo and “Club Publix” to new customers.
As of Friday, Sept. 12, Publix operates more than 1,400 stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. According to the company’s “New Store Openings” page, six store openings are scheduled before the end of September.
