Before David Mathis thought about buying a 54-year-old Rutherford County business, he strummed his first chords on a Gallagher guitar.
“As a teenager, my youth director (taught me),” he said. “So, I had always known about Gallagher. I eventually had my own. When it was announced that they were closing, myself – like a lot of people – thought it was a tragedy for this American company to be closing.”
