Sacramento Intensifies Efforts to Combat Homelessness, Over 2,000 Cases Addressed in One Week

Between September 1 and 7, the City of Sacramento received 740 calls to its 311 service about unsheltered individuals. The Incident Management Team released a report on its efforts to address these calls, according to the City of Sacramento.

The city responded to 2,123 cases, with 1,218 resolved through issue resolution, compliance, or inspection, while 75 people were added to shared databases linking them to shelters and resources.
