Stockton police fatally shoot 19-year-old after he drops, then picks up, a gun

Police fatally shot a 19-year-old Stockton man who they say brandished a gun after a chaotic foot pursuit, ignoring repeated demands not to touch the weapon.

Police elaborated Wednesday in a social media post what transpired during the incident that began when officers approached a double-parked car near Doray Court and Pixie Drive.
